April 10th Data Update

This post updates COVID-19 confirmed case data for the DC Metropolitan area as of April 10th 2020. The total confirmed cases in the DC area rose by 833 to 7,302 from the previous total of 6,469, an approximate 13% increase. The doubling time for cases in the DC area is approximately 5.7 days. 
Fatalities rose by 33 to 176, from the previous total of 143, an approximate 23% increase. The doubling time for fatalities in the DC area is approximately 3.3 days.
