ReplyDeleteAny further information about the spike in cases one day earlier this month?
Thank you - When I started this blog, I really didn't conceive that this blog (or the pandemic for that matter) would go on for a year's time.
DeleteRegarding the January 17th datum (4,870 newly-reported cases), all I know is that the spike was driven by a surge of cases from Northern Virginia, in particular Fairfax and Prince William counties (1,523 and 1,508 respectively). I have yet to read anything from VDH walking-back those figures. I suppose it could have been a reporting backlog from those jurisdictions.
