July 1st Data Update

This post updates COVID-19 confirmed case data for the DC Metropolitan area as of July 1st 2020. The total confirmed cases in the DC area rose by 297 to 79,747 from the previous total of 79,450, an approximate <1% increase. Fatalities rose by 9 to 3,130 from the previous total of 3,121, an approximate <1% increase.

    1. Last time was April 1st (no joke), with 297 cases. It would be encouraging to see a few consecutive days of <300 cases.

    1. Actually, I misspoke - there were 288 new cases on 16 June. However, it was late March when we last saw under 300 on a *consistent* basis.
