This post updates COVID-19 confirmed case data for the DC Metropolitan area as of April 12th 2021. The total confirmed cases in the DC area rose by 884 to 398,629 from the previous total of 397,745 . Fatalities rose by 2 to 6,737 from the previous total of 6,735

This post updates COVID-19 confirmed case data for the DC Metropolitan area as of April 23rd 2020. The total confirmed cases in the DC area rose by 980 to  17,162  from  the previous total of 16,182 , an approximate 6% increase. The doubling time (3-day moving average) for cases in the DC area is approximately 13.5 days.  Fatalities rose by 65 to  658  from  the previous total of 593 , an approximate 11% increase. The doubling time (3-day moving average) for fatalities in the DC area is approximately 7.3 days. The total confirmed cases in the DC area rose by 1,064 to 18,266  from  the previous total of 17,162 , an approximate 6% increase. The doubling time (3-day moving average) for cases in the DC area is approximately 12.6 days.  Fatalities rose by 52 to  710  from  the previous total of 658 , an approximate 8% increase. The doubling time (3-day moving average) for fatalities in the DC area is approximately 7.7 days.
