April 28th Data Update
This post updates COVID-19 confirmed case data for the DC Metropolitan area as of April 28th 2020. The total confirmed cases in the DC area rose by 1,020 to 22,228 from the previous total of 21,208, an approximate 5% increase. The doubling time (3-day moving average) for cases in the DC area is approximately 15.9 days.
Fatalities rose by 53 to 924 from the previous total of 871, an approximate 6% increase. The doubling time (3-day moving average) for fatalities in the DC area is approximately 13.5 days.

what is your outlook for the next 2 weeks? DC's mayor declared a public health emergency until May 15th. Will we see a decline in new cases between now and then?
ReplyDeleteI have no outlook - there are so many factors into how the disease will spread, how mortality is affected, and how it is detected and recorded.
