This post updates COVID-19 confirmed case data for the DC Metropolitan area as of 24 November 2 021 (covering 18 November - 24 November) .  The total confirmed cases in the DC area rose by 4,940 t o  522,268  ( average daily increase of 706 )  from  the previous total of 517,328 . Fatalities rose  by 33 t o  7,944   ( average daily increase of 5 )  from  the previous total of 7,911 .
